How Can headache And A Small Red Bump In The Forearm Be Treated?

My 17-year-old son Michael first noticed a small red bump on his forearm Wednesday evening. Since then it has gotten progressively larger each day, and is now approximately 8 by 10cm. He denies any trauma, and there appears to be no break to the skin, nor drainage. He has had the chills both Friday and Saturday evening along with severe headaches during the daytime. He related body aches , Fatigue, and loss of appetite, over the last few days, however Currently there is no fever, and his appetite has gotten somewhat better along, and the chills have left, but not the headache. The red and raised area is at its largest currently.
